Hi! My name is Maya! I'm a rising senior at Skidmore College, studying Psychology and Business. I've worked with kids (3 months - 15 years old) for over 5 years. Outside of daycare and summer camps, I supervised birthday parties by setting up spaces, coordinating activities, and making sure both kids and parents had a great experience. I'm currently studying abroad in Montpellier, France, and also work in a middle school teaching English. I work with students of all skill levels, and have found this to be a rewarding and joyful experience. These experiences have given me the tools to connect with others and create positive environments. I also work in a leadership role at Skidmore College, where I lead freshmen on 3-day Adirondack trips, helping them build connections before college starts. This has been a very rewarding experience annually because I get to connect and bring people together, while being nature and doing fun activities. I would love to be an au pair this summer!
