Letter to the family

Dear future host,
I will begin by introducing myself, I am a 20 year old university student currently living in Australia. However, in May I am intending to go to South Korea for the purpose of a working holiday. During this time I would live to spend time with a family, I believe it would be a great experience for both sides. For a bit of back ground, I studied at the language education centre at Sogang University for 7 months in 2023. This is where I came to love Korea, and why I have decided to return. I enjoy spending time with and teaching children. Therefore, in the future I hope to become an ESL teacher for children. I think that the opportunity to work as an Au Pair would help prepare me for this.

I do not have any experience as an Au Pair but volunteered as an assistant teacher for children aged 3-6 at a church for 2 years. I also spent a week work experience in a kindergarten where I learned teaching methodology, child safety and behaviour management and of course was able to have a fun time with the children.
