Experience
Originally translated from Español
I have had the oortunity to live with and care for children in different settings, both family and professional. During my training as a paramedic and doctor, I have learned to build trust with children in vulnerable situations, providing them with empathetic, calm, and safe care. I have also participated in community activities and health campaigns, where dynamics are conducted with children to promote self-care, disease prevention, and health education.
Additionally, as a teacher in courses for non-medical personnel (some of them parents or caregivers), I have learned to explain complex topics in a simple way, which also allows me to communicate clearly with children of different ages. I am patient, creative, and enjoy encouraging learning through play, conversation, and exploration of their environment. I know how to establish routines, set loving limits, and adapt to each child's emotional needs.
Although my experience has not been as a formal babysitter, I have developed key childcare skills: empathy, responsibility, first aid, crisis management, and the ability to create an environment of trust and respect. I describe myself as an empathetic, curious, and committed person. I love learning new things and finding ways to connect with others through understanding and respect. I am organized, resilient, and have a strong sense of service. I adapt easily to different environments and enjoy both teamwork and moments of personal reflection. I firmly believe in the balance between structure and creativity to grow and help others do so.
Interests and Hobbies:
I am interested in everything related to health, education, and art. I truly enjoy reading, writing, cooking (especially baking), watching documentaries, drawing, and exploring art history. I also enjoy music, learning languages, and having meaningful conversations. I love traveling, experiencing new cultures, and learning about different ways of seeing the world. In my free time, I also enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with my family and friends.
Once my Au Pair stay is over, I plan to return to Mexico to officially graduate as a Medical Surgeon and continue my professional training, either in a medical specialty or with a community and public health focus. I would like to aly everything I learned during my stay—especially intercultural and childcare skills—to my future work with families, children, and communities. I'm also interested in continuing to participate in social and educational projects both nationally and internationally.
