Motivation Letter – Au Pair

Dear Host Family,

My name is Amanda, I am 27 years old, and I am originally from Alcorcón, Madrid (Spain). I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, with a specialization in DECA (Department of Child Development), and I am currently completing a Master's in Early Childhood Education at the Francisco de Vitoria University. I also hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and am a leisure and free time instructor.

From a very young age, I have felt a clear calling to work with children, which has led me to train and gain experience in different educational and recreational settings: preschools, school cafeterias, camps, extracurricular activities, and early childhood centers. This experience, along with my active participation in the Catholic Scout movement, has allowed me to develop skills such as empathy, responsibility, creativity, and adaptability.

I want to be an Au Pair because I am excited by the idea of ​​sharing my culture, continuing to develop myself personally and professionally, and above all, because I deeply enjoy working with children. I consider being an Au Pair a wonderful opportunity to integrate into a family, contribute with my training and experience, and at the same time enrich myself by learning about a new culture and language.

I believe you could consider me as part of your family because I am a committed, caring person with a strong educational vocation and a great desire to contribute. I speak English at a B2 level, am fully available, and have extensive experience working with children of different ages, including infants and preschoolers. I strive to build bonds of trust, respect, and fun in every setting I work in.
