Dear Future Host Family,

My name is Septi, I am 25 years old, and I am currently working as an au pair in the Netherlands. My contract will end in June 2025, and I am now looking for a wonderful new family to join.

In my current host family, I take care of two children: a 3-year-old and a newborn (whom I’ve been caring for since he was 2 months old). My responsibilities include helping with pick-ups and drop-offs for the older child once a week, taking her to dance class, and occasionally helping with light household chores.

I would describe myself as a caring, responsible, and sociable person with a cheerful personality. I love painting and enjoy learning new things.

I speak Indonesian, English, and German, and I am always excited to meet new people, explore new cultures, and grow through new experiences.

Experience

Before becoming an au pair, I worked as a teacher for children aged 3 to 10 years old. On weekends and during my free time, I also worked part-time as a babysitter and in a daycare, taking care of young children. These experiences, along with my current role as an au pair, have strengthened my passion for working with children.
The reason I want to continue being an au pair is that spending time with children has helped me learn more about myself and develop important skills, such as patience, understanding, and responsibility. In the future, I plan to become a nurse and enroll in an Ausbildung program after my au pair journey. For now, I want to gain more valuable experience as an au pair, continue learning, and make meaningful connections with children and families
