My babysitting experience started at a young age, becoming an auntie to my wondering niece at just 12 years old. 3 years later, my adorable nephew was born, so I spent my teenage years offering support and care to my sister and her family, caring for and raising newborns to be bright kiddos alongside my sister.

Apart from my extensive experience with my own niece and nephew, I offered childcare to various families as early as 11 years old. I cooked for, cleaned up after, entertained, and played with children of all ages, newborn to preteen. I believe it's important for the children to feel comfortable and safe around me, while also establishing that I am in charge, and their parents' rules still apply.

Additionally, I spent my summers in my teen years as a camp counsellor, doing crafts with the kids, singing, hiking, being creative with our free time, and making sure they are taken care of at bedtime as well as their day to day needs. I learned how to cooperate with and entertain large groups of children at every age.

I would like to become an Au Pair to connect with local culture and families, and engage in meaningful, fulfilling work. It can be lonely navigating life in a new country alone, and I absolutely love to be around people, chatting, helping out, sharing memories. I am looking for work that can also be my home away from home!
