Letter to the family

Dear Host Family,
First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to read my letter. My name is Melek Buse. I am a 23-year-old Aquarius born on 01.02.1999 :) I live with my family in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. My family is the most important thing in my life. I'm grateful to them for supporting me in every decision I've ever made in my life. My father is a retired soldier and my mother is a housewife. I have two sisters, and they're both class teachers.
I graduated from Sakarya University Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations in August 2021. After graduating, I worked as a public relations officer at a private school. Because I love children very much, I realized that I wanted to study about them and I enrolled in the "Child Development" department with distance education at Ataturk University. I am currently a student in the "Child Development" department with distance education.
I'd say I have a very colorful life. I love traveling, swimming, cycling, ice skating, dancing, yoga, volleyball, and going to volleyball matches. I played licensed volleyball in elementary, middle, and high school. But unfortunately, when I got to college, I had to quit. They say I'm still playing well, even though I'm not playing under license right now
I want to share my experiences with the children to make the world a better place. I think they have a lot to teach me, just like there are things I can teach them. I'd say I've learned a lot from the kids I've looked at. And I love cooking, making desserts. When I babysit, I cooked a lot for them. They were simply helping me and we were cooking together. I and the babies I looked after enjoyed it. They were so excited about the food we had together. I want to learn more from the kids and teach them more.
When I ask people around me, "What do you think I am?" Fun, patient, cheerful, friendly, reliable, responsible, respectful, compassionate, optimistic. I'm so happy to hear that.
I was usually trying to do activities for the children's ages. Painting, singing together, dancing, using puppets.
I spend a lot of time with the kids, and I always do it of my own accord. I like to take responsibility for myself and others. I like to get to know people of different ages and different cultures. (Most of my friends in my class were foreigners because I studied international relations, and I knew people from many cultures)
I think being an au pair, taking on new responsibilities, and gaining experience with children from different families, give me a unique opportunity to improve myself. I want to maximize myself in this regard. It will also be an amazing experience to improve my English. These experiences will help me grow. It will be a unique opportunity to tell my children in the future, not just for my career, but for my whole life. That's why I want to be an au pair.
I've tried to tell you a lot about myself, but it's hard to talk about it all. Therefore, please contact me for everything you want to know about me. I'd be happy to tell you everything you want to know. I know it's important to get to know each other. To be happy together, we need to make sure we're a good match. Experience

I took care of eight kids in total, and I loved them all. Right now, we live in different cities with some of them, and we're still video chatting. I'm still communicating with all of them. The first kids I looked at were brothers and sisters. Their names were Arden and Tanem. Arden was 1 when I started looking at them, and his older sister Tanem was 4. I took care of them on weekends for two years when I was in college. It was fun spending time with them. Their parents weren't home on the weekends, and I was doing activities with them. We did creative activities inside or outside according to the weather. I was changing Arden's diaper, taking a bath, and playing simple games. Tanem and I were making cupcakes and playing with Barbie dolls. They were very cheerful, intelligent, and friendly children.
The second baby I looked at was named Atlas Lied. He was 1 when I started looking at him. I took care of Lied every weekday for three months. Then I kept looking at the weekends. I was changing diapers, took baths, and we were playing games together and sometimes we were going to the park.
The third kids I looked at were brothers and sisters. Their names were Vera and Kaan. Vera was 2 and Kaan was 4 when I started looking at them. My responsibilities to them were to prepare meals, help With Kaan's homework, change Vera's diapers, keep the children's laundry clean, to help with bath time. We used to go swimming a lot together. I taught Vera how to swim! I'm still looking at them.
Finally, I looked after Emir, Görkem and Emre.Görkem was 7 years old, Görkem's mother was upset that he was antisocial. We are going to the theatre, children's concerts, and ice skating with him on weekends to socialize with kids, especially with Görkem. Görkem even flew a kite with me for the first time and then this was his favorite event. I am also helping them with their homework and studying English. We have a very good relationship. I'm still taking care of them.
I want to be an au pair because I have a great passion for children. I love working with children, spending time with them, helping them learn and sharing my experiences with them. When they ask me to help them, ı try to make them feel that I really care and will always support them. Being friends with them is the most important thing to me. I take childcare very seriously because I know how important it is to teach good, beautiful and exemplary behavior. I want to share with the children all my experiences so far to make the world a better place. I have so much love in my heart to give them. I think I'm fit for the role because I'm a patient, responsible, trustworthy and loving, organized, flexible and fair person. I'm also a fast learner. I like to know people of different ages, different cultures. I especially want to get to know American culture because it's always been interesting to me. In the meantime, I want to improve my English skills. In short, I think being an au pair will make me bigger. It will be a good experience not only for my career, but for everything in every field for the rest of my life.
