As a preschool teacher and substitute teacher in my local public schools, I’ve had the privilege of working with children of various ages and backgrounds. This experience has helped me develop a strong understanding of child development and a passion for creating engaging, educational environments where children can thrive. Whether it’s guiding them through creative activities, supporting their learning, or simply being a positive role model, I’ve always been dedicated to fostering a nurturing and supportive atmosphere.

Growing up, I had the unique experience of being raised by several au pairs from different parts of the world. They became like family to me, and their influence shaped who I am today. Through their presence, I was introduced to diverse cultures, languages, and perspectives, which greatly broadened my worldview. These experiences instilled in me a love for cultural exchange and a deep appreciation for the value of learning from others.

Now, as an adult, I want to pay forward the kindness and cultural insights that my au pairs shared with me by becoming an au pair myself. I see this as an opportunity not only to continue my passion for childcare and education but also to immerse myself in a new culture and deepen my understanding of the world. Living with a host family, helping with childcare, and contributing to daily routines will be a rewarding and meaningful experience, allowing me to give back while gaining invaluable personal growth.
