Dear host family,

My name is Ona and I am 19 years old. I am from Spain, where I live with my mother Clara, who works as a nurse, my father Gabriel, who is a salesperson, and my older sister Alergia. We are a very close-knit, sociable and communicative family. I have always loved children and have taken care of them during several summers, preparing their meals, helping them with their homework, and playing with them.

I am currently studying Dental Hygiene in Barcelona and living away from home has taught me to be much more responsible and independent. I consider myself a responsible, sociable and very maternal person, which is why my family and friends support my decision to become an Au Pair. A few years ago, my older cousin was an Au Pair in Italy and since then, I knew that I wanted to have the opportunity to travel, meet new cultures and families.

I have experience in taking care of children aged between three and thirteen and have always enjoyed learning from them, as they also learn a lot from us. I love spending time with children, reading romance novels, listening to music, and drawing. I enjoy trying new flavors and cooking well.

I am bilingual in Catalan and Spanish, speak English fluently, and am learning German. I would love to have the opportunity to meet your family and learn about your culture.
