My name is Carmen, and I am a Spanish student currently living in Dublin. I´m from Artana, a small town in Castellón near Valencia. I first came to Dublin in September as an Erasmus student, and I have truly fallen in love with the city and its atmosphere. That is why I would love to stay for a few more months during the summer to enjoy the good weather while having a meaningful experience as an au pair.
I believe that being an au pair would be a great opportunity for me to improve my English and immerse myself even more in Irish culture. In my everyday life i used to speak valenciano, in dublin the language i speak most is spanish as all my friends are spanish. English would be my third language and i feel i understand it quite well, but i am still not confident enough to speak it well. I need to practice my speaking skills more.
