Letter to the family

Hi potential future host family!

My name is Caitlin. I am 22 years old and from Atlanta, GA, USA. I have 3 brothers, one of whom is 10 years younger than me. I have been babysitting multiple families in my hometown for 8+ years and have also been a children's swim coach and volunteer leader. I am a caretaker at heart and have tons of experience caring for children of all ages.

I graduated with high honors from Georgia Institute of Technology this past May with a B.S. degree in Literature, Media and Communications. I'm currently working part-time (25 hours a week) as a remote content creator for a corporate communications company. While I'm still young and not full-time working, I dream of making memories and experiences in a new city. Ideally, I'd love to find a host family that needs me for 15-30 hours a week, so I can continue writing and designing for my company whenever I'm not needed by your family.

I keep a tidy space, and don't mind doing light housework and cooking for others if it means I'm taking a lift off their shoulders :). I am certified in Professionalism and Soft Skills (PASS 2023) and am happy to help young kiddos out with homework and developmental skills. I hope to create a bond with your children and help in any ways I can.

Experience

I have been babysitting children (ranging from ages 3 months - 13 years) for the past 8 years of my life. I grew up with 3 brothers, one who is 10 years younger than me, so I have loads of experience caring for boys, but truly cherish getting to spend any extra time with young girls. I love children and am a caretaker at heart. While I'm still young, I hope to make memories and experiences in new places, which is why I dream of being an au pair in a big city abroad.
