Hello! I am a 21 year old student at the University of Edinburgh studying Linguistics and English Language. I would like to become an Au Pair to improve my French, experience living abroad for the first time, and have new cultural experiences.

I am responsible, organised, trustworthy, hardworking, and polite. I have experience working with children from babysitting for family friends, as well as volunteering at local youth groups in my town. I have a Girlguiding UK Young Leader Qualification and experience running youth group meetings, games, and activities for children aged 7-10 years old.

I have similar experience from a WorkAway stay I did for 3 weeks in May 2024, in which I stayed with a family on a Greek island. I helped with tasks around the home, such as cooking, cleaning, painting the house, and gardening. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of staying in a new country, learning a new language, and having new cultural experiences such as trying new food and taking part in traditional Greek Easter celebrations.

I have a qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), as well as knowledge of linguistics from my degree. I am a native English speaker, and speak basic French. I would be more than happy to help with teaching English to children!
