Letter to the family

Dear Future Host Family,
My name is Gabriela, I am 22 years old, and I come from Republic of Moldova, currently living in Romania for my studies. I am writing to express my genuine interest in becoming your Au Pair & Nanny. I’m a caring, responsible, and energetic person with a deep love for children, new cultures, and family life.
My motivation to become an Au Pair& Nanny comes from a passion of spending time with children, we can learn so much from them, and as well they learn from us, I also love to explore new cultures in a meaningful way. I don’t see this just as a job, but more as an opportunity to become part of a family that I can learn from, support you, and give attention to your kids that they need when you can’t. The idea is to be a good influence on the kids and in this way I can evolve as well.
I think i can make a great new family member. I’m kind, patient, I like to adapt in new situations, I also truly think that I’m a creative person and that we can do fun activities for kids to learn. I really value communication, trust and reliability.
In terms of qualifications I always babysit my family members which are toddlers and we always have the best time of our lives!
Additionally I can’t wait to share my own culture while learning yours!

Experience

I never experienced as an Au Pair yet, but I’m sure everything haves a start! I’ve spent time babysitting my family members toddlers. I’m great at making up new games, activities, i always love to be around kids, they are just so honest, creative and they have completely different views of the world which is so amazing and pure! Always feel so rewarded after teaching something new to a child.
What draws me to become an Au pair abroad is the positive to do to things that I love: working with kids, and seeing new family values and also discovering a new culture. I don’t want to described a country just as a tourist but more as a day by day routine, as being part of a family. I believe being an Au pair is a meaningful way to learn a new language, traditions and at the same time bring support to a family!
For me this experience would mean so much more than childcare- it’s about building new connections, learning and also contributing to the children development!
