Letter to the family

Hello dear parents,
My Name is Emilia and I’ll graduate Highschool (in Germany it’s called Abitur) in late July.
I feel like I need to see the world and experience something before I start College or Working - a gap Year.
I‘m babysitting since I’m 13years old and I really love working with kids.
In my Opinion there are a lot of things we can learn from the little humans :).

Besides my experience and interest in working with children, I‘d really like to learn about other countries traditions and ways of life.

To conclude: the concept of being an au pair combines the two things I really want to do:
Working with children and seeing the World.

Experience

I started babysitting when I was only 13years old and I do it since then.
The first family had three children in the age of 4, 8 and 11.
I cooked for/with them, got them ready for bed, put them to bed(read a goodnight story and sang a lullaby;)) and just entertained in general.
The second family, I’m still working for, has two children in the age of 3 and 11.
Changing diapers, making food, going outside with them and picking up the small one from the kindergarten are things I do about twice a week.
