Hello! My name is Marianna and I am from a small town in Vermont. Coming from a very small town, in a small state within the United States, I have had many unique opportunities. I have grown up very close with my two brothers and my friends. I play ice hockey, soccer(football), and lacrosse. Outside of sports, my friends and I used to ride bikes, go to the park, get ice cream, and find many other ways to entertain ourselves. This is due to living somewhere that the nearest town is a 15-minute drive away. This has created me to be a person who can find easy ways to stay entertained, wants to explore more of the world, and can easily entertain others, such as children. My current part-time job is working at a shoe store in a mall. This has built up my people skills tremendously and has made me an even harder worker. I have also worked as a camp counselor for children in the past and I loved it. I want to become an Au Pair to travel outside of the United States and learn more about other cultures and lifestyles. I feel as though I should be hosted by you because like I mentioned earlier it doesn't take much to entertain me, making me an easy person to have around. I love working with children whether it be going outside or staying in for a relaxing day at home. I like cooking, and although I wouldn't consider myself a spectacular cook, I can still make many things and would love to learn more. I also have no problems with cleaning up around the house, and even find myself enjoying washing dishes, vacuuming, etc. Overall, I feel I am a good option for an Au Pair because I value time with people, love working with children, am a hard worker, and would be more than happy to help around the house.
