Firstly, thank you for taking the time to read this.
My name is Jessica and I am from the west coast of Ireland. I have spent the last 25 years living in the countryside in County Mayo with my parents and two younger brothers. In 2019 I moved to Galway for 4 years to study a Bachelors of Global Commerce in the University of Galway where I achieved a first class honours result. I have gained great experience as a Human Resource Generalist for 2.5 years and in January 2025 I ventured off to travel South east Asia for 5 months.

Experience

From a young age I started helping family and friends with child minding duties and always really enjoyed it. I spent 3 months one summer working 30 hours a week to care of two young children and this really opened my eyes to potentially pursing an Au Pair role. My previous experience working with children also included my career as a gymnastics coach. I was a gymnastics coach for over 6 years, within this role child safeguarding is of top priority. This allowed me to gain experience, providing a supportive, fun and safe environment for the children. Having travelled for the past 4 months I am excited about the opportunity to work in a new country and experience a new culture and way of living.
