Hello, my name is Katie and I am currently in school finishing my A Levels (equivalent to Bachillerato). I am a part time youth worker which involves providing a safe space for children, facilitating activities for them, and being someone to talk to when they need it. I want to become an Au Pair because I would love to put my experience to use whilst getting to experience life in Spain. I am passionate about my job as a youth worker and I feel that this experience makes me stand out as an Au Pair because I work with children from all backgrounds with a range of life experiences, and I am not even out of school yet. I think a candidate should host me because I am a very easygoing person and am flexible with plans, I am very organised and won’t find it hard to keep up with your lifestyle, whatever that may be. I also have 1 year of experience as a housekeeper so I am not phased by any cleaning duties. At home, I love to cook and bake so I can easily work your children to improve their cooking skills if that is something you value. With my youth work job I have done first aid, safeguarding, manual handling, cybersecurity, fire awareness, health and safety, customer service, data protection, and inclusion and equality training.
