Hi! My name's Rachel, and I'm a history nerd who loves to sing and dance. I want to become an au pair to immerse myself in another language that I've studied, and to travel to places I wouldn't otherwise be able to go at this point in my life. I genuinely love hanging out with/taking care of kids of any age, and helping them navigate the world. I like to find joy in the little everyday things, like cool breezes on a hot sunny day, or the feel and smell of a good book. I also love finding ways to keep organized that work on an individual level. I've never worked as an au pair before, but I have worked as a nanny for several families, and have CPR/first aid training. I have rudimentary knowledge of several languages, and would love to immerse myself in yours to get better at it!
