Yasmin (21 / Ms. ), English, living in United Kingdom looking for Au Pair & Live-in Help job in Italy & Australia for 4-6 months

Dear future Au Pair family,

I am a 21 year old female from England and I am looking for the perfect opportunity to fulfil my lifelong dream of spending time living in Italy whilst also making a positive difference to a child and their family's life.

For as long as I can remember, I have longed to move to Italy for sometime, having often wished I had grown up there myself. Not only am I eager to visit as much of the country as possible, I have always loved Italian culture and would be delighted to have an opportunity to be involved and experience it myself. Having always wanted to learn the language, I am currently self-teaching myself Italian; however my knowledge is very basic. I would love the opportunity to develop my language skills whilst getting to know the Italian way of life.

I am an incredibly mature, caring, friendly and selfless person who always does what I can to help others. I consider myself to be a very hard-worker who will always make the best out of any situation. I have always loved working with children, and have spent a number of years babysitting cousins and children of family friends. I believe a person's younger years are vital in shaping who they become in later life and the relationship between child and au pair is key to providing unique and memorable experiences. Never having the opportunity to learn a language or live in a bilingual household myself, I understand the value this can add to a child's life as it provides a vital skill that can contribute to their future.

I also work as Fundraising Manager for a charity that helps teach children living in disadvantaged waterside communities how to live safely by teaching drowning prevention and about the environment. Although this job is considered full-time, it is remote (meaning I can work from anywhere in the world), and the hours I work are solely down to me. Due to this, I am looking for an Au Pair opportunity that is around the 20 hours per week mark. This way I can carry on my charity work whilst helping your family in the most efficient way possible and carry out my dream of immersing myself in Italian life.
