Hello! My name is Katie and I would like to be your future au pair! I have a bachelors degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Hospitality and Tourism Management from a 4 year university in America. My native language is English and I taught English in Japan for two years and I am currently a remote English teacher for a South Korean company. I've taught high schoolers and elementary blind and deaf students. I love and am passionate about my job and connecting with students. When I was in college, I was a camp counselor and care giver for over 40 elementary aged students. I took a CPR and first aid training course for this job. I also worked as a college prep counselor for teenagers. I would like to become an au pair because I easily fall in love with other cultures and languages and I love working with children. I lived in Japan for two years and it was the greatest experience of my life. I think everyone should immerse themselves in another culture at least once in their life and I am excited to have the opportunity to do it again. I've traveled to Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia and now I'm ready to explore Europe. I have a lot of experience taking care of and teaching children. I am kind, respectful and work very hard. I would love to be your au pair and become part of your family :)
