Hello!
My name is Ezgi, and I am 18 years old. I graduated from high school last year in May and currently live in Izmir, Turkey. Before moving here, I lived in Hatay, but after the earthquake on February 6, 2023, my family and I relocated to Izmir.
I first learned about the Au Pair program from a friend, and since I have always dreamed of living abroad and learning a new language, I believe this program is a great opportunity for me. If I have a good experience and improve my language skills, I would also love to continue my studies abroad in the future.

My mother is a hairdresser, and my father is a shuttle driver. After the earthquake, we struggled to find a home therefore I stayed with my aunt for about a year. During that time, I voluntarily took care of my cousin, who is 6 years old and has special needs. She cannot walk, talk, or even hold his head up properly, but hse expresses herself through her smiles, which always bring me so much joy.
While caring for her, I would talk to her, introduce her to different objects, help her drink and eat, encourage her to hold objects in her hands. Even now, despite being far away, my aunt still video calls me during her physiotherapy sessions because seeing me motivates her and helps with her therapy.

Coming from a large family with many children, I have always been surrounded by younger cousins, playing with them and creating joyful memories together. I am very used to and enjoy spending time with children.

Personally, I am an responsible and loving. I respect my living space and love meeting new people and forming connections. One of my main reasons for joining this program is my desire to step out of my comfort zone and experience new things. Also explore myself more.


I hope to find a host family that shares the same mutual respect and warmth. I am looking for a family who will welcome me as a part of their home, treat me with kindness, and build a trusting relationship.
I can assure you that I will provide the same in return. If our expectations align, I would be thrilled to become a part of your family, and I look forward to this exciting journey with you!
