Letter to the family

Dear Family,

My name is Giorgia. I am a 20 year-old Italian girl. I’m from Italy and I live in Bergamo, a town close to Milan.I’m a sunny, extrovert and happy girl. I am helpful and flexible. I’m also active, very social and I interact with other people easily. I am also very conscientious, independent and take every challenge with a smile.

I finished my school in June 2017. I've studied international relationships in marketing field. That basically means lots of hours of economy in different shades and 3 languages (English, French and German).

In September 2017 I had the chance to be AuPair for a French/Scottish family (near Paris, for 3 months with 2 children) and in 2018 for a British/Welsh family (near London, for 2 months with 2 children). I will never forget these unique and amazing experiences.

After a year break, where I worked at my dad's bar, took part in the summer animation club (CRE Grest) of my village and experienced the adventure of being an Aupair (twice), I started working at Bergamo's airport as check-in agent.I loved this job!! Now, I'm working as an administrative employee/accountant.

Experience

When it comes to child care experience, I have looked after children in both formal and informal contexts. Since I was 13 years old, I've been part of the summer animation club (CRE Grest) of my village, where I took part in recreational indoor and outdoor activities with children: we sang, danced, played games, role played, drew, painted, and narrated stories. We also visited the public library, the local animal park, went out on picnics and a camping trip. Furthermore I have helped my parents look after my brother since birth.

I would like to do an experience as au pair abroad because in this way, I can deepen my knowledge about other cultures, I can improve my English/French/German and I will learn more about myself. This third experience as aupair would be perfect to understand what I want to do in my life and to have a complete vision of my options.
