Josephina (18 / Ms. ), German, Student living in Germany looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in New Zealand for 3-6 Months

Dear future host family,
my name is Josephina, but you can call me Josy. I'm 18 years old and graduated from school in May. Before starting university, I decided to take a gap year to explore new experiences. I've always been passionate about caring for children and traveling, which is why I've chosen to become an Au Pair in New Zealand—a country I've dreamed of visiting for a long time.
Let me tell you a bit about myself:
I currently live in Berlin, the capital of Germany, with my mum and younger brother. They, along with my friends, are incredibly important to me.
In my free time, I enjoy participating in theater and am an active member of a drama club. Through this club, I've had the opportunity to help organize children's camps, which has further fueled my passion for working with kids. I also love swimming, cooking, baking, skiing and spending time with loved ones—especially when playing card games! Creativity is a big part of who I am, and I'm always excited to try new things.
I have a deep love for animals, especially dogs and horses, and would be more than happy to help take care of any animals as part of my Au Pair duties. While I am a vegetarian right now, I am flexible and open to switching my food preference if it better suits your family's lifestyle.
I have extensive experience working with children of various ages. I've been babysitting regularly for a few years and completed a one-month internship at a kindergarten for kids with special needs, which further expanded my childcare abilities. Additionally, I am volunteering with kids who come from underprivileged backgrounds.
Through these experiences, I’ve learned to be a responsible, patient and, most important, kind person.
I hold an English language certificate and am a trained lifeguard (including first aid), ensuring that your children's safety and well-being will always be my top priority.
Currently, I'm learning how to drive and expect to have my driver's license by the time I arrive in New Zealand in January or February.
As much as I cherish my life in the city, I also love nature and new adventures. Ideally, I would like to live just outside a small city in New Zealand, where I can enjoy both the countryside and the convenience of being close to urban areas.
I would love to become a part of a fun and loving family for about 4-6 month, and longer if the shoe fits! :)
