My name is Manuela, and I am writing to express my enthusiasm for the opportunity to join your family as an au pair. I am a recent high school graduate with a multicultural background, being half Brazilian and half German. I believe that my love for children, my babysitting experience, and my passion for learning languages make me a great fit for your family.

Growing up in a large family, I have always been surrounded by children. I have many younger cousins, and from a young age, I took great joy in helping care for them. This experience, along with my three years of babysitting for families in my neighborhood in Berlin, has given me a strong understanding of children’s needs and how to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for them. I genuinely love spending time with children—whether it’s playing games, reading stories, or helping with their homework—and I would love to bring that same energy and care to your home.

In addition to my love for children, I have a deep passion for the arts, particularly dance. I started dancing when I was four years old and attended the State Ballet School of Berlin for six years. This experience not only cultivated my discipline and creativity, but also taught me how to work well with others and be patient—qualities I believe are essential when caring for children. I also enjoy reading and cooking, activities I would be happy to share with your children, whether it’s reading a bedtime story or preparing a fun meal together.

One of the main reasons I want to become an au pair is to immerse myself in a French-speaking environment and improve my French. I am passionate about learning new languages and exploring different cultures, and I believe that living with a French family would be the best way to achieve this.
