The Netherlands made a lasting impression on me as a child – especially the warmth and openness of the people always gave me a warm feeling. These positive memories are linked to visits to my grandparents, who still live in the Netherlands, and inspire me to experience this wonderful way of life in new contexts. I'm therefore excited to experience Dutch culture, language, and lifestyle not just as a guest of my grandparents, but as an active member of a new family and in my everyday life.

For me, an au pair year not only represents a valuable cultural exchange, but also the opportunity to further develop my interest in culture and educational work. I can very well imagine studying and working in the Netherlands long-term – especially in the field of primary school teaching, as I greatly value interacting with children. This desire is also reflected in my previous experiences: I have already completed a ski instructor training course, regularly work at children's sports camps during the holidays, and enjoy babysitting.
