My name is Ilham, a Denmark born 23 year old currently living in England. As the second eldest daughter of a family of 10 children, I have always felt like a mother figure and love taking care of and nursing children. Being an Au Pair would grant me the amazing opportunity to care for children and make new experiences. Travelling and connecting with people outside of what I know is a wonderful way to extend families and exchange cultures as there is something we can all always learn from each other. I firmly believe, as children are our future, they should be cared for whatever form that care may appear to be. I love spending time with children, understanding them and being part of their beautiful journey to growth by allocating my time and space to being the person I am required to be. Being an Au Pair would come with a lot of responsibilities and could mean I would sometimes need to go above and beyond to do not only what is expected of me, but what is right and I know myself to be someone who is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to fulfil my roles regardless of how challenging a task may be.
