My name is Skye, I’m 20 years old, and I’m from sunny Queensland, Australia. I graduated from Chancellor State College in 2020 with a Certificate II & III in Health and Service, where I studied nursing for two years with the dream of one day becoming a paediatric nurse. While I’ve put that dream on hold for now, my passion for caring for and working with children has only grown stronger.

For the past five years, I’ve worked in my stepfather’s acrobatic company, first as an assistant coach and then as a head coach for the past three years. I’ve had the joy of coaching children from ages 2 to 16, and that experience has helped me develop patience, leadership, and the ability to connect with kids of all personalities and energy levels.

Becoming an au pair would be more than just a job to me—it would be a life-changing experience and a dream come true. I didn’t grow up with siblings, and I’ve always longed for that close bond. I see this opportunity as a chance to create those meaningful relationships, while also immersing myself in a new culture and sharing mine in return.

People often say that I come across as shy at first, but quickly reveal myself to be bright, bubbly, and full of positive energy. I care deeply for those around me and always try to see the silver lining in every situation. My friends say I’m a great problem-solver and someone they can always count on for support and understanding.

Outside of work, I stay active with aerial lyra, the gym, and Pilates. I also regularly attend church and was recently baptized, which has become an important part of my personal journey. My first aid training is up to date, and while I currently only speak English, I’m a quick learner and would love the chance to pick up a new language.

I believe I would be a wonderful fit for a family looking for someone who is kind, responsible, energetic, and genuinely passionate about being a positive influence in their children’s lives. I’m open to working in any country and can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds.
