Letter to the family

Hi! My name is Marie, I’m 20 years old and currently finishing my Bachelor's degree in International Relations at the University of Geneva, with a major in International History and a minor in International Law. I’ll graduate in June 2025 and am planning to take a gap year before pursuing a Master's in Human Rights and Area Studies (with a focus on the Caucasus and Central Asia). I’m currently spending my final semester in Yerevan, Armenia, driven by a strong interest in the region's historical and political dynamics.

Experience

Coming from a large family (I'm one of 18 cousins on my dad's side!), I’ve been surrounded by children my whole life. I’ve taken care of my younger cousins during holidays—playing with them, cooking, bathing, reading bedtime stories, and even changing diapers. I also have formal babysitting experience (with children aged 3 to 9), worked as a tutor for kids aged 7 to 18, and assisted in a kindergarten in Germany.

I truly enjoy spending time with children and want to become an Au Pair to offer the same support my family received when we had a nanny during my childhood. I want to help busy parents, be part of a family’s daily life, and create meaningful memories with the kids.
