Letter to the family

My name is Maria Camila, I am 22 years old, and I’m from Colombia. I recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in performing arts. I’m thinking about studying in Germany, but first, I want to experience life there. I am a persistent, creative, patient, and kind woman.

My expectations as an Au Pair are primarily to be able to learn and grow both personally and professionally. I hope to create a close and trusting bond with the host family, where I can feel like part of their home and, at the same time, learn from their way of life. I also trust that working with little kids will provide me with an enriching experience, allowing me to develop skills that will be useful to me in the future.

Experience

In my family and in my close circle of friends, I have taken care of the youngest children in the house. I have played with them, fed them, danced with them, and read them stories. I think small children are adorable, and since I am affectionate, I communicate easily with them. I have patience but I also set limits.

I have always thought that the experiences children have in their childhood will mark them for life, which is why I try to be very careful with them.
