Paulina (17 / Ms. ), Colombian & Spanish, Student living in Colombia looking for Au Pair job in France for 7-9 Months

My name is Paulina, born in Bogotá Colombia. I come from a family consisting of my mom, dad, and younger sister. I am 17 years old, I will be 18 in July 2025. I love singing, running, dancing, and exercising. In 2018, I lived in Germany for a year, and in 2022 I spent six months with a host family, where I took care of an 8-year-old boy. This experience taught me to adapt to new cultures and develop my communication skills with children.

My experience with children includes tutoring in German and English, as well as school activities such as sponsoring the little ones. I love children and get along very well with them.

I want to be an Au Pair for 9 months, ideally to take care of children between 5 and 10 years old. As for living with the host family, I imagine a friendly relationship where we can easily talk. However, I would like to have some independence during my free time.

I would be happy to take on tasks such as looking after the children, helping them with their homework, playing or walking with them, picking them up from school and cooking. I have no food preferences or allergies.

I am interested in working as an Au Pair because, as I mentioned, I love working with children. I am also excited to learn French. It is a language that I not only like, but that I have been studying for some years and I want to perfect it. I would love to live in France, since, in addition to being the best place to learn French, in my opinion, it has an incredible culture. I love its landscapes, and its history has interested me a lot since I was little. This experience seems essential to me not only to get to know France well, but also to travel around Europe.

My goal, in addition to learning French, is to get to know different places, and the best way to achieve this is by travelling. This experience means a lot to me because I have the opportunity to live it, to get to know and see many things completely different from those in my country.

The reason I decided to do this is the pleasure of living an adventure in another country, in a different family environment. I am really excited about this opportunity.
