Letter to the family
Hello, my name is Soranny, I am 23 years old. I am a fundamentally cheerful and creative person, whose positive energy is reflected in every aspect of my life. My degree in early childhood education was not just an academic choice, but the embodiment of my deepest passion, working with children.
In my daily work, I find immense satisfaction in seeing how little ones discover the world through my teachings. My creativity unfolds especially in the educational environment, where I transform complex concepts into playful and accessible experiences that capture children's imaginations.
What defines me most is my vocation for teaching. I also greatly enjoy creating spaces where children can develop their potential, cultivate their natural curiosity, and forge their first meaningful learning experiences. For me, every smile, every moment of understanding on their faces, represents the greatest professional achievement.
My academic training has given me valuable tools, but it is my genuine enthusiasm for accompanying the little ones in their first educational steps that truly makes the difference in my daily work. I am a guide, a facilitator of discovery, and, above all, someone who firmly believes in the transformative power of a warm and creative education. My experience with children has been forged primarily through my teaching internships at various educational institutions in Montería. At the Villa Cielo Educational Institution, I had the valuable opportunity to work with Transition grade students for 50 hours, where I designed and implemented teaching materials and educational-recreational activities tailored to their needs. This experience was complemented by my internship at the National Educational Institution, where for 45 hours I not only created educational materials but also supported the students' comprehensive development process, actively participating in their evaluation and monitoring. Particularly enriching was my experience at the Vallecito del Sinú CDI, where over the course of 60 hours I was able to design teaching activities and create stimulating educational environments that fostered meaningful learning. Currently, as a private tutor, I provide personalized instruction tailored to different levels and learning styles, preparing students for exams and academic assignments. This has allowed me to develop a flexible educational approach focused on each child's individual needs. I am an enthusiastic and creative educator, passionate about exploring new ways of connecting with the world. My love of languages reflects my innate curiosity to communicate and understand different perspectives, perfectly complementing my interest in exploring cultures around the world. In my free time, I find great satisfaction in activities that stimulate both my body and mind: I enjoy expressing myself through painting, feeling the freedom of cycling, and immersing myself in diverse musical genres that nourish my spirit. This combination of artistic, physical, and intellectual interests shapes my holistic approach to early childhood education, allowing me to create multidimensional learning experiences for my students. After completing my Au Pair program, my horizons expand to new academic and cultural goals. I would like to deepen my language proficiency, possibly adding one or two more to my current repertoire, to strengthen my ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. At the same time, I aspire to pursue a master's degree in education with a focus on multicultural methodologies or early childhood development, which will allow me to enhance my teaching practice and contribute significantly to the field of education with a perspective enriched by international experiences.
