Hi! My name is Eleanor and I am a future masters of public health graduate from Boston University. I have lived in Boston for the last year, and am eager to get out of the cold northeastern U.S. to seek experience abroad. I am from a smaller town in Southwest Virginia, and have always aspired to live abroad.

Experience

I would love to become an Au Pair or live-in tutor because in another life I would be a teacher, and while I don't want kids of my own, I love working with kids. I have worked with kids as young as 9 months to as old as 17 years in a variety of settings including coaching youth soccer, teaching/tutoring, and as a counselor. I have vast experience working with children of all different age groups and all different settings. I worked in an elementary school classroom as a live-in tutor, and it was a life-changing opportunity to connect with a wonderful and underserved group of kids, to inspire them in their education journey. Being in au-pair in a foreign country would allow me to do fulfilling work that gives me a chance to live globally and explore a new place.
