I have been an au pair for the last year to an 8-year-old boy who was profoundly gifted, meaning his emotional age was about 4 and his intellectual age was around 11! I learnt a lot about myself through looking after him, I also learnt a lot about him and how he sees the world. I will forever treasure my time with him as I believe this experience has highlighted some of my personality traits about myself that I love. I learnt that I am extremely patient with children, I learnt that I can be a good disciplinarian whilst also ensuring a safe space between myself and the child I look after. I always put his needs first and I will forever be apart of his life.

I have grown up with two sisters, one younger and one older.
I have loved looking after my little sister, even though she is only 2 years younger than me.

I have babysat children ever since I was 14. I have worked with many different families with all sorts of difference ages and number of children! I feel very lucky to be able to share a part of me onto these children, and to watch them grow into mini-adults! I often look after kids in classes at my performing arts school, on trips or at events.
