Letter to the family

I am 18 years old and just graduated highschool in Germany.
Before I am going to start my studies I ´d love to spend 4 to 6 months as an Au Pair in the UK, preferably in London.
I ´d like to use this opportunity to get to know the lifestyle, language and culture of this country more closely.
Above all, I am looking forward to being part of an English family for a period of time and looking after your child (or your children).
I am also willing to help with other household chores such as cooking, cleaning and doing the groceries.
I have a little sister who I have looked after many times and I have also worked as a babysitter several times. This has given me some previous experience with children.
