Letter to the family
Dear Sir/Madam,
I hope this letter finds you well. My name is Roselyn Pecolados a 26 year old Filipina, born and raise in the Philippines and currently residing here in Bremen Germany. I studied Bachelor of Science in Business Management Major in Financial Management in Assumption College of Davao, and I am writing to express my sincere interest in participating in the Au Pair Program. I was able to provide care for my younger siblings ages 3, 4, and 8. Responsibilities included was preparing meal, washing clothes, executing educational activities, watching over them while they're playing with other kids, play with them, help them clean themselves and help them get dressed also babysit my neighbor and friends kids while the run a quick errand. I am a diligent and enthusiastic individual with a strong desire to immerse myself in a new culture, learn the German language, musically inclined person who knows how to play instruments like Guitar and Ukelele and contribute positively to a host family's life.
Coming from a close-knit family of 9, I am the 3" out of 7 siblings, with my 56yr old Father being a Tricycle Driver that does Construction work on the side if there's a gig and my 59 yr. old Mama a housewife, I have always valued the importance of relationships and understanding. Growing up, my family instilled in me the values of compassion, responsibility, and open-mindedness, which I believe are essential qualities for a successful au pair experience. With their support, I have developed a strong sense of independence and adaptability, qualities that I am eager to further cultivate through this program.
My journey towards discovering the Au Pair Program began when I was exploring opportunities to broaden my horizons and gain valuable life experiences. Through extensive research and discussions with friends who had participated in similar programs, I came across the Au Pair Program, which immediately captured my interest. The prospect of living with a host family, immersing myself in their daily lives, and assisting with childcare while experiencing different culture firsthand resonated deeply with me.

I am excited about the prospect of becoming a part of a family abroad, sharing my own culture, and learning from theirs.
