Letter to the family

Dear future host family,

my name is Ioanna, I am 17 years old and come from Bad Kreuznach, Germany. I am currently attending a school in Rhineland-Palatinate and am very interested in other cultures and dealing with children.

I want to become an au pair because I love spending time with children and want to take the opportunity to get to know a new culture and language first hand. I see an au pair period as a valuable opportunity to advance my personal and professional development and at the same time be an enrichment for your family.

I think I would be a good choice for your family because I am responsible, sensitive and reliable. My previous internships in a primary school and a retirement home have shown me how important patience and understanding are when dealing with other people. I also enjoy taking on household tasks and actively helping in everyday family life.
