Lucia (22 / Ms. ), Australian, Student living in Australia looking for Au Pair job in Italy, Netherlands, Spain & Denmark for 1-6 Months

As an Au Pair, my motivation would be to explore a new place and culture, and most importantly, to make new friends and family along the way. I would love to hear experiences and stories from people from different cultures, as well as share my stories and experiences as a young person growing up in Australia. I also enjoy working with children because of their curiosity, creativity and positivity.

I have worked with many families as both a babysitter and a Nanny since I was 14 years old (7 years of experience). Duties in these position included looking after and playing with children from 9 months-15 years of age, taking them to and picking them up from school, helping out with meals, bathtime, and bedtime. I also love to take my babysitting and nannying kids out to the park, zoos and swimming during the school holidays.

I currently work with a young family who have two boys, ages 3 and 5. I help with picking the boys up from school and kindy in the afternoon, bringing them home for dinner, help with bathtime and get them ready for bed time. I have worked with this family part-time for two years whilst studying and also working part-time in an architecture firm.

As a high-achiever in English during high school, I also previously tutored primary and high school students in english in 2019-2021. I helped these students with homework, assignments and preparation for English exams. I thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to offer my experience and knowledge as well as learn from my pupils.
