Greetings to my potential Au Pair family. My name is Tashana, but you can just call me T. I am currently living in Brisbane, Australia, working as a Spa Therapist. Before working as a Spa Therapist in January this year, I spent almost 5 years working as a support worker for the elderly and people with disabilities. I hold a qualification in Individual Support, and spent most of my days providing community access, and assistance with daily living tasks, which I invite you to ask me all about!

I would love the opportunity to become an Au Pair, as I truly value experiences and cultural exchange. I’m not seeking to make a lot of money, as I have found meaning in enjoying the small things that we take for granted while working full-time jobs. I find pleasure in cooking, having a clean space, teaching and learning new things, and hope to exchange a new perspectives and ideas with my next family.

I think my next family should host me if they value people who like to make the best out of any situation, are clean and well organised, and also have a great awareness of their surroundings. At 16 I moved out of my family home to begin working while finishing my diploma. In the 7 years I have been on my own, I have learnt self-discipline, time management and many other important life skills which I carry with me to this day. Rest assured your children will be treated with the same care and respect as my own family, and I understand I will be in your home and will treat it with the utmost care.

Although I am not officially qualified as a nanny, I grew up as the oldest sister to six (6) young siblings in rural Australia, and spent a lot of time tending to household tasks on our farm, which included cooking, cleaning, laundry, and all tasks relating to the caring of children of all ages. I am very confident in caring for both the elderly and young children, and am actively working towards improving my language skills so I can communicate in your native language.
