Dear Host Family,
I am excited to introduce myself as your potential au pair. My name is Alyssa, and I am a 17-year-old girl from Brisbane, Australia. If your family is looking for a happy, young, eccentric and optimistic nanny to bring some brightness into your children's lives for a short term, while helping out with appropriate cooking, cleaning and caring, then I'm your girl. I am currently enrolled in high school in year 12 and would love to start nannying overseas for approximately one to three months as soon as I finish school, which is around the start of December 2024. Becoming an au pair has always been something I've dreamt of, and I hope you can make that dream come true! Experience

As the eldest female grandchild on both my mother's and father's side, I know a thing or two about caring for little ones. However, caring for younger cousins has never been a chore for me, as I genuinely love spending time with children, and being a key family member in their lives. With a new baby cousin every year or so, I am comfortable caring for children of all ages. With this experience of caring for children for long hours, I understand that patience, calmness, responsibility, and problem-solving skills are vital for a smooth day. Aside from my own family, I have babysat different neighbour's kids of various ages since I was 14 years old. This experience has also helped me gain skills in time management and multitasking, which will help in preparing meals and cleaning, all while keeping an eye out for the little ones.
