Letter to the family

Hello, lovely future host family!
My name is Emily, and I am a 23-year-old girl from Brisbane, Australia.
I’m looking for a host family in Paris starting January until June 2026

I am a kind and outgoing person; I currently work caring for animals at a zoo, and I love to read, write stories and travel! I am more than happy to do housework and would love to care for your children and teach them English!
Ideally, I would hope for a lively family that I can spend time with outside of my working hours and enjoy my own privacy when desired.
I am also a relatively independent person and would appreciate having my own living space, such as a studio, if possible. But I am also happy to live in your home if that’s easier for you and the children.

Experience

Experience: I am a big sister to my two younger brothers and have done lots of babysitting throughout my life. My current work doing nocturnal tours at the zoo often means I am responsible for looking after children coming along with the night tours.
Languages: Fluent in English, basic French (currently learning)
I am presently self-learning French and undergoing a summer semester French speaking course, as well as taking additional French-speaking courses.

I am currently finishing my degree in Animal Care at the University of Queensland. I hope also to complete a Certificate in Veterinary Nursing so that I could assist in zoos as a veterinary nurse when I return from my first au pair opportunity!
