Letter to the family

Hi,

My name is Zuzanna. I studied Chinese and International Relations at the University of Exeter in the UK with YA at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Learning new languages and exploring different cultures is my passion. I come from an English-speaking environment which makes English my first language. I grew up in a Polish family which is why Polish is my second native language. Even though I grew up speaking more than one language, I do know the struggles of learning a foreign language. I know Russian fluently and Chinese at an upper-intermediate level.

I would love to become an AuPair for the next academic year or summer holidays. I already have 6 years of various teaching experience. I worked as a private tutor for children and adults from all around the world. I do have a 3-month-long experience working as an AuPain in China. I also worked as a volunteer for the Asia and Pacific Museum and prepared workshops for children. In 2017 I became a qualified camp counsellor and managed large groups of children.

I currently work for Helen Doron English School and this role has taught me, what it really means to be a successful teacher. I understood that learning does not need to be a tough and boring process. I started to believe in the power of education through fun and creativity. I always try to encourage my students to think critically and outside the box. During my lessons, there is always a huge emphasis on developing practical skills in children and the skills that would make them conscious and confident individuals. I encourage them to find out their own methods of successful learning and I make them aware that everyone is capable of achieving their goals. That shapes a growth mindset and creates individuals that develop themselves without the fear of failure.

I love working with children and exploring different cultures. Working as an Au Pair is a perfect opportunity for me to develop my interests. I easily fit in new environments. I know all first aid rules and I always keep my wits about me so you don’t have to worry about your children’s safety in any kind of situation. I am a positive and self-driven individual with great communication skills.

I am looking for a friendly family that would host me for the summer holidays or the next academic year!
