Letter to the family

Hello!! I am Amy, I am actually currently an au pair in France already and looking for a friendly family rematch! I have a valid French visa until August 19th 2025. Available to start January 2025. I am passionate about childcare and catering to different ways of learning for children. I graduated high school in the US, and straight after took a gap year and did some humanitarian work in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Eswatini Africa. It was an education of culture language and life that I couldn't have learned in college and I am forever grateful for that experience. I also moved to Guatemala last year for four months of learning the Spanish language and just after traveled through Colombia, Peru and Bolivia to continue practicing my Spanish. Si quieres yo puedo hablar en Español con sus niños también!! I love music and to sing, to dance to be outside. The ocean is my favorite place in the world to be! Experience

I am very passionate about children and childcare and caring for kids with empathy and an open mind. I have worked in childcare my whole life and have always loved being around kids. I have a 2 year old niece who I love and take care of about 3-4 times a week when I am back in the states. I have loved the kids I have gotten to nanny and the bond that you create with your kids as an au pair is the best part of the experience. I like to take the approach of learning the kids and their interests, creating a fun easy-going environment for the kids to be themselves and create things. I love taking the kids outside, to the park, on a walk, or cooking with the kids. I like to think of myself as an older sister in the au pair family! I chose to be an au pair in France because I love the language and culture and have always wanted to speak French. I am excited to explore more of your country!
