Letter to the family

Hi, my name is Sheila, I'm 22 years old and currently working in Denmark.
I have been working in an afternoon club, and the occasional hours during school, for children ages 6-11 years old, in a Danish school for the past 2-3 years. I have worked with all kinds of kids, from the ones with smaller issues at home, issues with friends, anger management and special needs (ADHD and autism). So I'm used to a bit of everything.
I liked working with children, which is why I'm also interested in becoming an au pair.
I'm looking into getting a TEFL certificate, which is why I thought being a live-in tutor would be a perfect starting point. I wish to live in South Korea, because I'm very interested in the culture, and therefore started learning Korean in my freetime as of January 2021.
I have tattoos on both arms, which I feel I need to address, since I'm aware not everyone is comfortable with them - but they obviously don't have any effect on who I am. And from prior experience with kids, they are mostly fascinated by them :)

Experience

I wish to become a live-in tutor in order to refresh my English skills, since I don't get to exercise them much here in Denmark on my current job. English was always my most comfortable subject in school, where I also got the highest grades. The only other 'tutoring' experience I have, is that I have used a few international texting apps, where I have chatted with mainly Koreans, and helped them with English grammar and such. But I would love the opportunity to focus on a single child, or two, and help them learn English with a more structured program.
I would like to become an au pair, because I want to properly experience Korean culture. and I believe that living with a Korean family would be the perfect environment to really learn about everything there + it would hopefully also advance my verbal Korean skills :)
