Hi! My name is Aiden, and I'm from southwest Michigan, in the U.S., where I still live with my family. English in my first language, though I have taken Spanish and French courses in high school. Learning languages and about cultures is my passion, but I haven't had much opportunity to explore since I had graduated. I'm looking for a fresh start & a change of pace, and I hope I can find that with my host family!
I love watching movies and going for hikes & runs, I value knowledge and experience, and I'm looking forward to new opportunities to discover myself and help out a family in the process.
I'm very sensitive and empathetic, I love to communicate and share perspectives, and I love people. I just can be easily overwhelmed with emotion, which is something I work through every day. I like to laugh and dance, despite lacking the coordination required.
I've helped my aunt care for my baby cousin from when she was born, to now, seven years old; she lights up when I come around, dragging me right up to her room to read or play or have a runway show. I would volunteer my time at the YMCA to care for some of the younger kids in their daycare after school, which I enjoyed a lot. Although I have just over 10 years of babysitting experience, I am nowhere near expert, and I often need direction or instructions.
