Letter to the family
Dear future family!
I am Csenge from Hungary. I am a 26 year old theatre-maker. This means that I have gained experiences in different fields of theatre such as acting, dramaturgy and criticism. I have also participated in several TIE projects and workshops. TIE means theatre in education and this led me to connect with children, mostly around the age of ten, so I learned how to effectively communicate and play with them. Furthermore, I used to be a scout for 12 years, so I was constantly surrounded by kids. I am also the leader of a charity organization in Târgu Mureş where I currently live, we help out the local children living in poverty.
I also have a major interest in psychology (if it wasn't for theatre I would have become a psychologist). I also consider myself as a traveler, through Workaway I have lived in Sicily for over a month, working for the most amazing lady I have ever met. I also moved to Romania to study at the University of Theatre Arts of Târgu Mureş. Thanks to these experiences I understand both Italian and Romanian. I am not a good speaker though, this is something I would very much like to work on. I am a little skeptical when it comes to writing about myself because I can only hope that the person reading these informations will consider me as genuine. So maybe I will drop some fun facts about myself: I love cats, dogs, horses, greek turtles, basically every animal, I love cooking, I love going for long walks and listening to music, I love running, I love Fleabag (the series) and I love people. Even though I am very social I sometimes need some solitarity.
I would like to become an au pair because even though my career is very important for me, when I think about my future I know I would regret one thing: never trying to start from zero in a new country. I can go back to university to continue my theatre studies or start learning something new anytime (just like my mum did) but I am only flexible, brave and curious enough right now to try and see more of the world. Also I don't yet have my own children so now I have the capacity to take care of children the best I can.
I would especially be happy if I could help out a single mother since my mum basically raised me as a single parent, just like the lady in Sicily I mentioned earlier. I know how much responsibility it is to take care of kids and I think it's an impossible job to be perfect at it. But I would like to try. I would ask questions any time I am not sure about something, I would try to help the family out in everything I can, so that the parent-child/ren relationship could flourish even more. I am quick to learn.
I don't have the proper qualifications to be a professional nanny, but I can be a friend, or I can be the help around the house. I can be a fun auntie your kids or even you can talk about the difficulties you are having, I am not judging, that's not my style. :)
It was asked whether I can bike- I can but I don't like it, but for the sake of the children I will!
