Natalia (18 / Ms. ), Polish, Student - High School living in Poland looking for Au Pair & Nanny job in Costa Rica, Ireland, Spain, USA & United Kingdom for 1-12 Months

I'm Nathalie, I'm an 18 year-old IB student. When I graduate in May 2024 I want to spend a year abroad volunteering or being an AuPair. Ideally I'd like to take care of newborns/toddlers as I love to help create a kid's worldview and be a part of their life, however small that part may be. I would love to explore and get to know a piece of somebody else's world. I want to see the world through people's stories and travelling adventures. I'm not afraid of responsibility, there's not much that scares me. I'm a creative thinker and solve problems in creative ways. I do NOT scream at kids, I talk to them. I do NOT tell kids to just stop crying, I talk and find out if they need some comfort or a solution (works with most people when they're overwhelmed). I have a brother who's 10 years younger than me, so I have a lot of experience taking care of him. However the experience I take most pride in is taking care of children of Ukrainian immigrants. The reason I think it's impressive is because I did not understand what they were saying and they didn't understand me, and yet we got along. Also the fact that these kids had to go through thing they did really made me open my eyes to people's stories and life choices. I witnessed many different situations and managed to help a lot of families in some way or another. I was one of the managers of the biggest help centre in Poland during the spring of 2022. I am always seeking new experiences. I can cook a pretty decent meal (depends what a child likes). The major con of my application profile is that I don't have a driver's license and do not plan on obtaining one any time soon. Please don't hesitate to contact me if my profile interests you.
