About Me ?
Hello! I’m Izzy, an 18 year old 2024 high school graduate from Byron Bay, Australia. I’m excited to embark on a new adventure and become a valued member, big sister, and helping hand to my very first host family. I’m a friendly, outgoing, and energetic person with a positive attitude, and I thrive in lively environments. My long-term goal is to pursue a career in journalism or TV presenting, as I absolutely love to talk! I'm also passionate about the ocean, nature, music, and dancing.

My Experience ?
I’ve been regularly looking after children for the past six years, and over this time, I’ve gained experience caring for children aged 2 to 12. My responsibilities have included everything from preparing meals and feeding children to organising engaging activities and ensuring the day runs smoothly. I’m also experienced in managing bedtime routines, including setting up for a peaceful night, bathing, and helping children feel comfortable and secure. Additionally, I’ve provided overnight care and handled both pick ups and drop offs to and from school, play dates and extra curricular activities.
Growing up with a younger sister and brother has also played a significant role in shaping my experience. From a young age, I was actively involved in their care and took on a role of responsibility, from helping with their schoolwork to looking after them during our parents’ absence. This has given me a better understanding of the emotional needs of children.
I genuinely have a passion for working with kids. I find it incredibly rewardin to not only meet their basic needs but also to engage with them on a personal level, building positive relationships that allow them to feel safe and valued. And of course have fun!

Although this will be my first experience as an Au Pair, I’m eager to find a family who will trust me to quickly show my dedication, respect, reliability, and willingness to take on new challenges. I’m excited to become part of a beautiful family and contribute in any way I can. ☺️
