Hello! My name is Marin, and I’m a born and raised Canadian. I come from a very close, loving family, with a great sense of humour and a taste for adventure. That being said, I’ve spent my whole life dreaming of seeing the world, meeting new people, and learning new things. I would be thrilled to join your family for awhile and be your au-pair! I’d love to help you with your family and daily tasks in exchange for the opportunity of experiencing life in Japan and practicing Japanese.

Experience

I am quite experienced with kids. As well as babysitting frequently for my friends and neighbours, I worked a job as a swimming teacher for 5 years. Everyday I was at the pool working with children ages 4-14, helping them improve their swimming skills and making sure they are safe and having fun. I am good at communicating clearly in ways kids can understand, and also enjoy laughing and playing games with them!
Not only do I love kids and enjoy being in a family setting, but I also believe there is no better way to get to know a new place than to live with and surrounded by locals. Being an Au Pair would greatly enrich my travel experience in Japan, while also allowing me to give back to and be of service to a lovely family.
