Letter to the family

I am a native English speaker from Ireland currently living in Spain. I have recently finished an English kids teaching position where I taught a range of different ages from a toddler class once a week to my everyday classes which ranged from 3-year-olds up to 12-year-olds.

I adore children and have always been around them. I have 6 amazing nieces and nephews in Ireland that I have cared for since they were newborns.

A typical day with me as your au-pair would be anything from baking, painting, outdoor activities and storytime.

At the moment I am temporarily staying in Calpe but I am willing to move for the live-out right position.

Experience

I've cared for children of all ages since I was a teenager. I really enjoy being with children- helping them understand and learn new things is such meaningful work and I think everyone can learn something if they take a moment to see the world through the eyes of a child.

A typical day off work for me in Ireland would involve me ensuring I get to see and chat with my nieces and nephews. They are what's most important to me.

My most recent work as a kids teacher in Zaragoza was a lot of fun. I met some wonderful people and children- my favourite part was getting to know each individual child and making a connection with them.

For all the reasons mentioned and many more is why I have decided to become an au-pair! :)
