Dear Host Family,

My name is Yeimmy, I am a 16-year-old student from Mexico, and I am currently seeking an opportunity to work as an au pair in Orléans, France.

I am in my second year of high school and maintain good academic performance. I am known for being responsible, independent, and caring. Although I am an only child, I have a large extended family and have spent many years caring for my younger cousins, which has given me valuable experience in looking after children of various ages.

My motivation for going to France stems from a close friendship with my best friend, Faus, who is currently an exchange student from Orléans living in Mexico. I plan to move to Orléans next year and live with her while pursuing my university studies online.

Family is one of the most important aspects of my life, and I understand that it is just as important to you. I would love the opportunity to become part of your family and contribute to creating a joyful and nurturing environment for your child.

Additionally, I speak English at a B2 level, which allows me to communicate effectively and confidently.

Experience

Although I do not have formal experience working as an au pair, I am very eager and willing to learn everything necessary to become a helpful and trustworthy support for your family. For several years, I have cared for my younger cousins and other children in my extended family, which has given me valuable hands-on experience with childcare.

One of my strengths is cooking—I enjoy it very much and I’m confident in the kitchen. I not only cook meals, but I also love making desserts. I am comfortable preparing nutritious dishes and can easily adapt to a child’s diet or any specific needs your family may have. I also take rules and routines seriously, and I’m respectful of each family’s way of doing things. I will do my best to follow your household guidelines and provide a safe, loving environment for your child.
